Helping students make responsible decisions about alcohol

College life is all about making decisions. Unfortunately, one of the most important decisions your student will make is whether or not to drink alcohol.

Students often believe the myth that all of their peers are drinking, regardless of whether they are of legal drinking age or not. This myth often makes students feel like they have to drink too, in order to fit in with the culture. The reality is that many students don’t choose to drink, or if they do, they drink responsibly. Don't delay completing FAFSA for financial aid

It is time for you and your student(s) to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (www.fafsa.gov). Carroll's recommended deadline has passed, but financial aid awards continue to be processed.

If your student received Federal Work Study earnings in 2013, they must report this value on the FAFSA. Students received an email in mid-January regarding the amount they should report.

If your student will not be completing the FAFSA for 2014-2015, please have them contact the Financial Aid office.

If you have any questions regarding this process, call 262.524.7296 or email finawork@carrollu.edu.

Diversity and perception

Can you see the young woman, the old woman or both women? Sometimes we have to delve a little deeper to understand what is before us and see what some readily see.

These events were among the experiences provided in March to enhance understanding of how we perceive, define and make meaning of the world and other people.
